Spitting elite at Davos 08 get free DNA analysis courtesy of 23andMe

Spitkit Jeff Jarvis is reporting on the presence of 23andMe at Davos:

We went to a booth in the fancy party hotel and spit — and spit and spit and spit some more — into a plastic tube and created a web account. Investor Esther Dyson even brought a few kits with her to the fancy final-night dinner party and had moguls salivating. In a few weeks, I’ll have my report back. This one is on the house for Davos participants. Otherwise, it costs $1,000.

I wonder if participants who just had a taste of steak tartare might find that their DNA report revealing bovine genes.

Looks like their blog is called The Spittoon, and they're reporting on this Spit Kit Giveaway. Their tag line is "more than you've come to expectorate."
