Google docs: the presentation software isn't quite there yet

I uploaded a PowerPoint presentation into the Google Docs browser based presentation software just released, and it shifted the text and graphics to the extent that trying to fix it would take too much time.

There were slides that were mangled worse than this, but this just gives you an idea what you would have to fix for the average slide.

It might be the case, at least in the beginning, where you would to create your presentation in this software, and then make some more sophisticated edits in PowerPoint, but for now I wouldn't depend on going the other way around.
