Maimonides Merci Retriever stroke treatment

I just heard that Maimonides Med CTR here in Bklyn has the Merci (Mechanical Embolus Removal in Cerebral Ischemia) Retriever for removing thromboemboli as a part of the services they provide at their Stroke CTR.

The system was developed by Concentric Medical.

Seems worth investigating to how this works.
