Linksys announces iPhone

Linksysiphone This was almost like the runup to the announcement that Apple was going to switch to Intel processors. Rumors being floated for months before, then people saying that this was most improbable, then the story in the Wall Street Journal online which made it official.

But no, the just announced iPhone is not from Apple, but instead it's a Linksys VoIP phone system.

Brian Lam of Gizmodo cryptically said that we would see the iPhone's release today, but that it would not be what would have expected.

Om says "Looks like real iPhone, without even making a debut is redefining the drab, dowdy and listless world of VoIP devices."
