MobiVoip for Treo 700p
VoIP and Gadgets Blog is reporting on MantraGroup's mobiVoIP service which provides VoIP for Palm OS smart phones (via Wi-Fi for the Treo 650, and EvDO for the 700p).
I'd like to hear Andy Abramson's take on this.

My take--Good idea. But since I don't have a Treo to try it out I can't say how good it is.
The one problem I see is on EvDO. The upload speed is so slow that without really radical compression it will be hard to have a conversation, and I doubt the Palm OS has the power to do that!
