Imaging Service Unveiled For Treo Smartphones

By way of TechWeb, scanR will enable camera phones (in this case the Treo 700p), to recognize text written on a white board, and then convert it into a PDF file.

The  scanR service employs image processing technology to overcome low lighting, shadows, blurring and other imaging challenges to provide a clear scan, said scanR.
